Welcome to "Pats Way Away" in Bullhead City, Arizona! Pats Way Away was our second vacation home. I lived Los Angeles for 12 years when I was younger and fell in love with the west! Bullhead City is an 1 1/2 from Las Vegas McCarran airport. Its an anonymous drive with mountains and valleys or spectacular views along the way. Bullhead City is the PERFECT place for hiking, biking, boating, paddle boarding, jet skiing, gambling and sightseeing!! So.. there is a millions ways to get to Bullhead depending on how much time you have. I will start with my typical drive. I typically stop in a little town called Chloride for lunch. It was an old mining town now more like a livable ghost town. There is a great restaurant called "Yesterday's" with amazing home cooked food and great beers selection. There's also a little town store, the old town jail (one cell room) and many antiques to be found (although it may be hard to figure out what is someone's yard and what's for sale, lol)If you continue driving into the mountains from Chloride you will see signs for Rock art...just keep going until you get there! 4 wheel.drive reccomend.From there I head into Bullhead.
